Bob Timmons, of ARK II, combined with Paul York to bring a FREE Showing of Sharkwater to the public and students of University of Toronto at the Hart House on Campus. The showing was a huge success with 90% new faces that were in shock on finding out that the Shark Finning Industry has wiped out 90% of our sharks by killing 100 million sharks yearly for a Bowl of Soup. Later, on January 17th, ARK II organized a Shark March that had an amazing turn out with minus 15 weather. Approximately 70 people attended and marched from Dundas Square down Dundas Street West. The Toronto Police were Amazing and also supported our cause for the "Year of The Shark". ARK II is connected with many Global organizations that do their best to show the public the 'real cost' of their choices. And to show we love 'land-based' animals as well, a Horse Benefit to help a Horse Refuge in Alexandria Ontario that had their Well Run Dry was held at The Supermarket in Kensington Market.
