Keep animals out of circuses, zoos and marine "parks"!
ARK II is opposed to the use of animals in all forms of entertainment: commercials, television, film, aquariums, circuses, zoos, travelling animal shows, etc. We have actively protested the Garden Brothers Circus, Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus, the Shriners Circus as well as other smaller animal acts. We have worked with Zoocheck Canada and PAWS (the Performing Animal Welfare Society). We would ideally like to see performing animals rehabilitated and released into their natural habitat. But, in instances where the animals are too old or imprinted on humans, the chance to live out the rest of their natural lives in a reputable animal sanctuary.
